Join the Belknap Mill Society

Even children can join the Belknap Mill Society
Members support the Society's art and history programs, children's education programs, community service projects and museum operations. The Belknap Mill's "Mill & Community" program reaches 2,000 students across the state each year. The Mill's "Arts Alive, Riverfest, Teacher's Workshop, and other art programs reach 30,000 Lakes Region children and teachers each year.

The Belknap Mill Society is a private, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. Contributions are tax deductible.

Bell Ringer    $5,000 or more

All memberships are for 12 months. Memberships make excellent gifts.

Member Benefits

Students (K-8) receive:

  • Advance notification of Mill activities;
  • Special invitations to concerts, exhibits, special events and other programs;
  • Receipt of quarterly newsletter, calendar of events, and student activities pages.

Contributors of $25.00 or more receive:

  • All of the above;
  • Discount rates in renting Mill facilities for meetings and other functions;

Contributors of $50.00 or more receive:

  • All of the above;
  • Mention in newsletter, annual report and program booklet (circulation: 40,000 each year).

Contributors of $100.00 or more receive:

  • All of the above;
  • If business, listed in the Business Drive press releases;
  • Decal for display.

Contributors of $500.00 or more receive:

  • All of the above;
  • Credit in all program promotional materials for four months, including:
    • Credit in press releases mailed to 90 print, radio and TV media;
    • Company logo on posters, fliers;
    • Verbal mention at events;
    • Mention in Mill signage.

Contributors of $5,000.00 or more receive:

  • Miniature bronze replica of original 1823 bell in Belknap Mill;
  • Name on bronze plaque in lobby;
  • Exclusive press release with photo;
  • Additional mention in Annual Program Booklet.

The Endowment Fund

Since the Belknap Mill first opened its doors as an art center in 1970, the Belknap Mill Society has grown to become a nationally recognized leader as a cultural center improving quality of life in the community.

Please help the Society maintain its preservation, cultural and community goals. The Society's Endowment Committee can provide you with professional advice, free of charge, to help you protect your estate and at the same time ensure the Society's lasting impact in the Lakes Region.
