A contest among Guild members to create a quilt incorporating their mission and vision for their organization, was held not long after the Guild was established and began meeting at the Mill. The winning design was created by Linda Presby.
The quilt on the right hung on the 3rd floor of the Mill from 1982 until January 2020, when renovations of that space began. It will remain in the archives of the Belknap Mill until it finds it's new home on the 1st floor following the renovation of that space, expected to begin in 2023. This quilt was a collaborative effort by 20 members at that time. Each square depicts some aspect of the Belknap Mill. Water wheels, turbines, the river, bricks and the Mill itself are represented.
Currently, more research is being done regarding this quilt and it's quilters.
