Held monthly from June through September, each event features free live music, museum admission, rotating art exhibitions, and food available for purchase. Summer 2026 opens with Dueling Pianos and culminates in our signature Sock Hop.

Part of Arts in the Park, the Belknap Mill Sock Hop is a beloved annual tradition, held in September. Step back in time with live music from the 1950s and ‘60s, enjoy free admission to the museum, explore a classic car display, and celebrate the opening of a new art exhibit. Don’t miss the chance to cool off with a root beer float at our fundraiser — a sweet finish to a nostalgic night in downtown Laconia!

Kids in the Park at the Belknap Mill is a free summer series that brings families together for creativity, play, and discovery. Featuring lively performances from IMPACT Theatre, hands-on art activities with Tiny Artists, and engaging demonstrations from local businesses and community partners, the program offers a fun and educational way for children to connect with the arts and their community.

The 2025 Belknap Mill New Year’s Eve Ball brought history and celebration together for a memorable night at Laconia’s most iconic landmark. Guests enjoyed music, delicious food and drinks, and plenty of dancing as they welcomed the New Year in style. Dressed to impress, attendees toasted new beginnings and rang in the year surrounded by friends, festivity, and the Mill’s historic charm.
