In the Kitchen at the Belknap Mill highlights local, Lakes Region citizens preparing and sharing the history a favorite recipe in the Belknap Mill’s newly renovated kitchen, quarterly throughout 2021.

This first episode showcases Rape’, a favored Acadian recipe of Rose-Marie Robichaud, our first featured guest. She is the author of two children’s books, Dee’s Pig and Dee’s Extraordinary Rooster. In September 2021, the Mill will present a month-long exhibit on Laconia’s Franco-American Heritage. For its inaugural year, each episode of In the Kitchen will feature French-Canadian or Acadian recipes to complement the exhibit.
