Join instructor Pam Bartlett, for this 5-week workshop to learn the art and craft of rug hooking, a traditional New England fiber art that beautifully combines artist expression and function.
In this course, students will learn the core skills of rug hooking, the history of the craft and complete a 16” x 16” piece. Designs will utilize a “hit and miss” approach to color. With the skills learned in this course, students could progress to pieces involving more complex designs and color shading in the future. Use your finished piece as a wall hanging, pillow, or chair pad!
Workshop Fee: $120.00 *Includes a kit with a pattern, all material required to complete the 16" x 16" piece, 12" quilting hoop and a rug hook. (A small pair of scissors are also required.)
