The Belknap Mill in partnership with the Laconia School District, is pleased to offer teens a knitting series. Classes will be Tuesday’s and open to Laconia students ages 12-18 years old.
A materials kit will be provided to each student. Classes will start Tuesday November 1st and will take place at the Belknap Mill from 3:00-4:30pm. This class is free of charge from a 21st Century Community Centers Grant. Class size is limited.
The class will be taught by Hope Kokas, a longtime resident of Holderness and a member of the Belknap Mill Quilters Guild. While quilting is her passion, she learned to knit, crochet, and sew at a young age by sitting with her mother, an avid and expert knitter.
